I can totally relate, George. In fact I get my oldest to check my phone for me when I’m driving. Can’t risk being distracted for one moment on these roads 😬
Yep. There is REAL life beyond the abstract matrix of the internet. The digital jail. These days, I can handle only so much before my brain shrieks at me; telling me I need to get away. Too much negative energy..
Ironically, one way I have discovered that fully captures my attention, in a good way I believe, is the ongoing challenge of riding a motorcycle here. Especially in the insane El Salvadoran traffic. One misstep and suddenly you could be in a world of hurt. No room for error. I am constantly learning. Have I experienced it all on the roads? Nope. Not even close!
Riding makes you focus on what's important. God, prayer, family and life in the moment. (single - so no S.O) Snooze, daydream, or become too distracted by the pretty girl on the sidewalk? BAM! Every time I hop on my bike, I pray. "Deadass" as the kids of today might say.
Cliché, but apart from death & taxes, there are no guarantees in life. Be grateful for every moment. Seize the day!

Great read & a great reminder!!!
Thanks, friend 💖 I’m constantly reminding myself of this stuff! 😝😅
For sure! We should always be evaluating ourselves & our behavior! That’s the only way we can truly grow🤍🌻
