So much of what our good friends, Ryan and Jessica, share in this video was similar to how we felt when we left our beloved homeland, Canada. Leaving family, friends, and homes behind was far from easy!
But it sure felt like our government gave us few options. Here’s their heartfelt story…
It was the surrounding cognitive dissonance, apathy & ignorance that were hard to take, for me. Why couldn’t they see what we saw? Now I know, there were many reasons, including the strength and all-pervasiveness of the fear-based propaganda. So so glad we’re in a better place now, like you!
And when you have children, it becomes imperative! It is our responsibility to teach them our values and respect our inherent dignity, not to mention safeguard our mental health, which is a factor.
